Hmm, there are a few things going on concurrently in this story and I can’t wait to read the next two books to see how everything pans out. L. Smith is a dark romance standalone with themes that might be triggering for some readers so do proceed with caution. I love the huntsman and was so happy to see that TL was writing them because I know these boys are going to open up so many kinky doors.

Even tho she and Zuko were different, she still matched his craziness 😆 They were such a hot and cute couple (yes cute, you will see once you read). When a certain someone with a voice she could never forget turns up at her job what will become of this little flirty game between Sage aka Alaska and the ruthless Zuko? Nevertheless, I enjoyed the characters Alaska and Zuko and I'm definitely intrigued by Zuko's brothers Kyson and Kenzo so that I'll come back to the Hunter brothers, wanting more of this world.I absolutely loved reading this book and I highly recommend that everyone reads it especially if you love grumpy sunshine.

It's a fun read however with lots of back and forth but we don't get into the nitty gritty and this story had so much more to give. This is about a strong independent FMC who works in a bar and has a secret identity as a phone spicy worker. If you don’t catch up with her in her home state of Queensland, Australia you can usually find her travelling the world, either sitting on a beach in Bali or exploring Alcatraz in San Francisco or walking the streets of New York.

I do think that there was some parts that were strange, disrespectful, and cringe but I got through it and felt like that was there personalities. but all those moments when he tended to her wounds, cooked, and gave off LITERAL “touch her and die” vibes? I 1000% love everything about this book between the two main characters the storyline the fact that they have such a funny witty back-and-forth banter between them, spice between them between you know everything there’s a little bit of sexual tension there is spice and then there’s you know a little bit of violence with the main character and some other characters and you know it’s just all around funny book. The writing was off, the dialogue didn’t always feel natural, and their personalities just couldn’t be nailed down.

Zuko, one of the Hunters, knows what he wants and he isn't afraid to do whatever he needs to do to get exactly that. I went into this book not knowing what I was getting myself into and I freaking loved every moment of it. There’s an extremely serious element in this story, one that Alaska has to work through, but it is a real-life element and it’s handled extremely well.I love the two main characters, they both are seriously messed up and broken, completely own it and just fit together in a really weird and dis-functioning way. It’s been a hot minute since I read dark romance and this was actually good and I had fun reading it 💜 Since Grayson’s book I was really excited for the Hunter brothers books! Moments of Malevolence is an all-new standalone enemies-to-lovers romance with serial killers and hidden identities, where the villain always gets the girl even if she sets his house on fire.
